We are seeking an uncommon professional to join our team as a Pension Project Coordinator, Finance Unit
Job Responsibilities
Percent of Time:
40% 1. Analyze, design, test and implement, in conjunction with ISD and Pension management, systems projects for the various Pension departments. Assume a leadership role and interact with functional areas to develop solutions to system needs. Analyze the solutions and make recommendations to management for approval. Once approved, design, document and test procedures and system specifications. Train users and coordinate the implementation.
25% 2. As assigned, assume a leadership role on approved pension projects. Develop project plans, direct work to team members and initiate follow-ups to keep accountable people on task. Track project progress and report final recommendations to department and division management.
20% 3. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Pension Administrative Recordkeeping system which maintains over $560 million of pension assets for approximately 3900 plans. This includes:
a. Develop accounting control procedures to prove accuracy of the system.
b. Complete and Review month-end reports
c. Investigate major production problems and recommend solutions.
d. Control security access to pension department.
10% 4. Provide ongoing training and problem solving for new and revised systems.
5% 5. Represent Pensions on interdivisional work groups and activities.

Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience.
2. Four years of work experience in pension administration environment, to include project leader experience and proven financial acumen.
3. Ability to work independently to resolve reporting issues and provide feedback on system requirements and updates needed.
4. Demonstrated ability to analyze data in order to design and implement projects and solve system problems as shown through previous assignments/projects.
5. Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate via telecommunications equipment, in person and in writing.
6. Demonstrated peer leadership ability, including serving as a technical resource for less experienced colleagues, training and assisting in the coordination of work of other team members.
